Deganit Paikowsky

Bio

Dr. Deganit Paikowsky specializes in the interplay between global politics and technological domains, focusing on space, cyber, and emerging technologies. She is a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she recently established a Techno-Strategic Research Lab. Dr. Paikowsky is also a Non-resident Scholar at the Space Policy Institute at George Washington University. Deganit’s work seamlessly integrates academic research with practical experience. Previously, she served as an advisor to Israel’s National Council for Research and Development, coordinated several national committees on Israel’s space policy, held a senior position in the Strategy Division of Israel’s National Cyber Directorate, and represented Israel’s space community as Vice President of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) on behalf of the Israel Space Agency. Currently, she is a member of the advisory committee of Israel’s Space Agency.
