Dr. Iris Posklinsky
Bio
Dr. Iris Posklinsky is a community social worker, researcher, and educator specializing in partnership building and management, community development, and peoplehood. She brings over two decades of professional experience in these fields, and in recent years has been integrating her field-based practice into academic research and teaching.
She holds an MSW from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a PhD from the University of Haifa. Her doctoral research on partnerships was recognized with the Best Academic Paper Award by the European Network for Social Policy Analysis (ESPANET), Israel. Her postdoctoral work, conducted at both the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Haifa, focused on displaced communities.
Dr. Posklinsky teaches courses in community practice and social management at Tel Hai Academic College. She held senior positions at the Jewish Agency for Israel and continues to serve other organizations, working with local and international communities, building capacities, and training leaders. Her work bridges academic knowledge and professional experience to inform strategic approaches to social infrastructure and community-driven growth.
