Micah Thau is a Master's student in the Political Science Department. Originally from Los Angeles, he made Aliyah in 2018 and earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations, with a focus on conflict and violence, at the Hebrew University. In 2023, Micah was admitted to the Telem Program—a direct Masters-to-Doctorate track offered by the Hebrew University to select students. His research centers on conflict and violence, with a particular interest in urban violence in divided cities. His current project examines the role of urban violence in shaping border determinations in divided cities, using Jerusalem during the Mandate era as a case study.
