Yuval Peleg is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a researcher at the Elrom Air and Space Research Center at Tel Aviv University. He is a student in the Leonard Davis Institute’s TELEM Graduate Program and a former recipient of its doctoral scholarship. Yuval’s research focuses on intelligence, security, and diplomatic studies; his interests include Israeli regional relations, superpower involvement in the Middle East, and Cold War history. His dissertation examines Israel’s diplomatic use of its intelligence agencies between 1975 and 1985. Yuval holds an M.A. in Security Studies and a B.A. in International Relations and East Asia Studies from the Hebrew University. His M.A. graduate project received the Carmon Security and Intelligence Studies Award and the Pratt Award for Security and Middle East Studies.
