Bio

     

Bar Rappaport holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Religious Studies. She completed her master’s degree in Natural Resource Management, with her thesis focusing on the intersection of politics and energy in Jerusalem. Currently, Bar is pursuing her PhD at the Hebrew University, researching "Cross-Border Electricity Connectivity Based on Renewable Energy."

In the past, she has worked with several Israeli-Palestinian peacebuilding organizations. In recent years, her work has focused on sustainable planning and climate adaptation in local governments. Bar also leads the "Climate-Political Sustainability" project at the Mitvim Institute, which explores the complex relationship between foreign policy and the global environmental challenges of the 21st century.
